February marks one year until the 2022 Winter Olympic Games begins. Beijing is stepping up its preparations.
Events will be held in 15 disciplines across 7 sports at the Beijing 2022 Games with 109 sets of medals to be awarded. A total of 25 venues, located in Beijing, Yanqing and Zhangjiakou respectively, will be used. For the fulfilment of mandates and mission to guard the Winter Olympics, TICA offers full support to Beijing 2022 by facilitating the construction of many projects such as the Ice Cube (curling venue), Yanqing National Sliding Center, Wukesong Stadium (ice hockey venue), and Shougang Ski Jumping Platform, to provide the world splendid and extraordinary Olympic Games.

Heat exchange tube technology
The National Aquatics Center, also known as “Ice Cube”, will be the curling venue during 2022 Olympics, making it a representative venue featuring " re-utilization, comprehensive utilization and sustainable utilization" that holds both Summer Olympics and Winter Olympics.
Solution
By taking into full consideration the complex design requirements for venue layout, air flow, and audience experience, TICA customized the air-side air handling system for the Ice Cube. The exposed FCU that supports both ceiling-mounted and horizontal installation is pleasing in appearance, and consistent with the venue layout. With the unique quiet design, it ensures stable operation without affecting audience experience. The customized high static pressure fan supports long-distance air flow in large space, so as to ensure even air distribution and comfort indoor environment.
Beijing Yanqing National Sliding Center

Large temperature difference technology
National Sliding Center adopts the cutting-edge piste design, making it the most difficult to design among all the new competition venues for Beijing 2022.
Solution
TICA provides this project with the integral air environment solution. This solution ensures proper temperature and humidity in the comfort area, and provides TICA's professional purifying modular unit, which features up to 95% primary filtration efficiency, to effectively enhance the indoor air quality. All air-side devices come with customized large temperature difference design to effectively reduce the device noise and guarantee quiet operation.
2022 Olympics ice hockey venue — Wukesong Indoor Stadium

Comprehensive upgrade
Wukesong Indoor Stadium hosted competitions at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and will host women's ice hockey at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Solution
TICA provides this project with a customized dual-operating condition cold water system. The water temperature can be flexibly managed to maintain efficient and stable operation.
Shougang Ski Jumping Platform

Ultra-large purifying DX heat recovery FAPU
Shougang Ski Jumping Platform will host freestyle ski jump and snowboard jump at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
Solution
TICA provides a special solution to this project. The full inverter large processing DX AHU can make timely adjustment in case of abrupt change in temperature and load. The customized micro electrostatic sterilization design guarantees healthy indoor air. The fresh air system can make adjustment based on CO2 concentration, to meet the requirements for comfort and energy efficiency.

International snow town
Chongli Prince Snow City is located in the core area of the Winter Olympic Games in Chongli District, Zhangjiakou City.
Solution
The mission of an HVAC system is to ensure healthy and comfortable indoor environment. TICA provides this project with a full set of air handling system to meet all air conditioning requirements in venues, award presentation areas and dormitory block. TICA's solution can guarantee comfort and clean indoor air, and is equipped with the heat exchange tube fresh air/discharge system for effective recovery of discharge energy. This independent heat exchange can effectively prevent cross infection and ensure energy-saving operation.

The 800m² underground stadium is the first campus real ice stadium in Beijing.
Solution
TICA provides this project with the customized integrated evaporative cooling medium/low temperature chiller to meet the requirements for both integrity and convenience. The energy efficient dual-compressor unit can automatically select a proper operating mode based on the conditions to meet demands for various cooling capacities at different stages such as icing making and maintaining.

Solution
TICA provides this project with three evaporative cooling medium/low temperature chillers. The upper computer automatically controls operations during the ice making and maintaining stages. The unit comes with cloud-based monitoring device and supports 24/7 online monitoring of operating parameters, as well as remote commissioning and early warnings.

Main stadium for the 14th National Games
Functional areas include racing areas for hosting 16 international sports such as basketball and ice hockey.
Solution
TICA provides a dedicate chiller solution to meet the stringent requirements. The unit adopts the R507 eco-friendly refrigerant and the open type screw compressor that features convenient maintenance and supports 10%~100% stepless regulation. The heat recovery function is adopted to replace the conventional ice melting through heating, to fully meet the requirements of users.
