CLASP Visited TICA to Discuss Energy Conservation Innovations

On April 11th, a delegation from the Collaborative Labeling and Appliance Standards Program (CLASP) visited TICA for a visit. The CLASP delegation members included Zeng Lei, the China Project Director; Colin Taylor, the Senior Manager and Deputy Director of the Climate Department; Hu Bo, the Technical Manager of the China Project; Kishore Kumar, the Project Manager of India; Prasun Pandey, the Senior Project Manager of India; Zhang Jiayi, Senior Project Manager; Kynan Tjandaputra, Project Manager of Indonesia; Tian Haizhen, Project Manager of China; and Karishma Joseph, Senior Communications Manager of India. The delegation was warmly received by Wu Xiaoquan, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of the Air Side and Commercial Product Division of TICA Environment, and Gong Tianze, Chief Technology Officer of the Central Research Institute.

CLASP is committed to standardizing energy efficiency for products in third-world countries such as India and Brazil. During the symposium, the CLASP delegation expressed their appreciation for the over thirty years of high-quality green development experience at TICA, highlighting the profound impression left by TICA's laboratory facilities during their visit. They also conveyed their full recognition of TICA's efficient and energy-saving product research and development, as well as the promotion and application of low-GWP products.

Participants agreed that the prospects for the heat pump industry are broad. In 2024, TICA launched the "Air Energy + Multi-Energy Coupling System" program, which achieves efficient energy utilization by synergizing air energy with geothermal heat pumps, high-temperature screws, boilers, and other multi-energy sources.
